Newsletter and Weekend Recap

What an amazing weekend we just had, not only did we celebrate Memorial Weekend, but we had the opportunity to be part of some amazing events, traveled a lot of miles, and covered multiple states. Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New York.

Our tagline for this week is…“Not that much sleep…but forever memories are priceless – Rico”

On Friday night we were at Maneely’s in South Windsor, CT., for Ellen & Brian’s awesome wedding.  We were in the main ballroom with close to 300 guests.  At this beautiful wedding we were displaying our industry leading wireless full room up-lighting technology.  One of the coolest highlights of the night was when we had every table perform to unique songs during the night.  It got everyone in the wedding very much involved and excited, and the entire night our dance floor was packed.  Thank you to Ellen & Brian and we wish them lots of fun on their honeymoon!

Saturday things started real early for our team.  We drove out at 6am to Newport, Rhode Island for Caitlyn and Zachary’s Day Wedding.  Their wedding event took place at the Hyatt Regency on Goat Island in the main ballroom overlooking the water with a direct view of the amazing bridge into Newport and a cruise ship that was docked.  The wedding was unique and different because it was held as a military wedding and we had the honor of having several ranks attending.  One of the greatest highlights was the military toast, very touching and timely with Memorial Day Weekend upon us.

Another of the many highlights of the day was our custom wedding photobooth.  All of the guests had a blast with all of our props and custom cards and took home with them their instant high quality custom designed prints to remember this beautiful day forever.  We will be posting their photobooth online gallery later this week on our website – www.djricoentertainment.com and also on our Facebook fan page – www.facebook.com/ricoentertainment

Our day Saturday was not over after our Newport wedding, in fact it was just beginning to kick off into one of the most anticipated Senior Proms.  We once again had the honor and pleasure to be part of the Maloney High School (Spartans) Senior Prom held at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville, CT.  Close to 300 students packed the Wagon room and all of the students looking very sharp in their dresses and tuxedos.  Our setup for this event included our computerized advanced intelligent lighting technology, high end laser technology, along with our industry leading graphics technology, where we scrolled the school name and names of the class king and queen on the ceiling along with a ton of other laser graphic effects.

RICO Entertainment is one of the only few entertainment companies in the area that own and operate this laser technology and more importantly are trained, licensed, and have variance approval by the government (FDA) to properly and legally run high end laser shows.  As the senior class advisor stated, “the prom was AMAZING!”  The students were excellent and most of them stayed enjoying the prom all the way to the end.  Our awesome photobooth division was also a highlight of the night providing instant high quality custom designed Maloney prints for all of the students and guests in attendance.  We had on display two of our red carpet photo booths with all of our awesome props to go along.   Once again we will be posting the online photobooth galleries later this week on our website – www.djricoentertainment.com and also on our Facebook fan page – www.facebook.com/ricoentertainment

All in all it was an excellent Memorial Weekend and our events were awesome!!!
