Q: Are you a Full Time Entertainment Company?
A: Yes, we are a Full Time Entertainment Company that can handle all of the needs for your event, from Professional DJ Entertainment, to Professional Event Photography with custom websites, Professional Videography, Uplighting/Mood Lighting/Decor Lighting. We also can manage and book talent performances for your event!
Q: Are you insured?
A: Absolutely, being a Full Time Entertainment Company we are insured and can provide any event venue a certificate of insurance listing them as an additional insured.
Q: Do you belong to professional entertainment associations?
A: Yes, we are members of ADJA, The American Disc Jockey Association and we abide by the professional code of service entertainment:• Operate business in an ethically sound manner while maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct.
• Abide by all laws and regulations governing my professional activities.
• Use legal forms of music and performance materials in the conduct of entertainment services.
• Be honest and realistic in conveying talent, abilities, and level of services to clients.
• Deliver products and services to clients, as promised, to the best of abilities.
• Use a written contract clearly stating all charges, services, products, performance expectations and other essential information.
• Provide a safe work environment with adequate protection for clients and their guests.
• Maintain adequate and appropriate insurance coverage for all business activities.
Q: Are you a registered business?
A: Yes, we are a registered business in Meriden, Connecticut.
We also are trusted business members of The Greater Meriden CT Chamber of Commerce and also the Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce. We are also part of BNI CT, this is the Business Network International Silver City Chapter - the largest business networking organization in the world!
Q: Why aren't your pricing rates listed?
A: No event is the same and every party event has a unique vision. Rico Entertainment offers his experience and professionalism to assist in defining the vision for your event and customizing the proper competitive fee structure. Please contact Rico for details on your unique event.
Q: What is the deposit requirement?
A: At the time of the event booking, the deposit is normally half of the total fee. However, we also offer flexible payment plans that fit our client needs. The additional balance is due 2 weeks before the event. Deposits are non-refundable but may be used for a future date within 6 months of original event date as long as the date is available for booking.
Q: Will a formal contract be provided?
A: Absolutely! All event details will be captured on a formal Entertainment Services Agreement and both parties will receive signed copies.
Q: What types of payments are accepted?
A: Cash, Personal Checks, Money Orders, and Credit Cards are accepted for deposits and final payments two weeks prior to the event.
Q: What type of professional equipment do you use?
A: Rico Entertainment invests in the best quality to ensure that your event goes off seemlessly. All Pro Sound is EV Pro, QSC Amps, Pro Denon, Pro Mackie. Lighting is Pro Chauvet and Pro American DJ Lighting. DJ Rico carries a club image and uses the ultimate Pro DJ software and hardware using Serato Scratch Live along with Pro Sony! For Mics, Pro Shure and Pro Sennheiser Wireless Mics. Need I say more!
